On March 20, the promotion event, Top Ten Outstanding People in China Seeds from 2012 to 2017, jointly organized by Farmer Daily and China Seed Association was held in Beijing. Yu Xinrong, deputy secretary of the Party Group of the Ministry of Agriculture, and other deputy ministers attended the ceremony and gave speeches. Academician Gai Junyi, a soybean breeding expert in our college, was awarded the honorary title of Top Ten Outstanding Persons in Chinese Seed Industry from 2012 to 2017.
